Hi all.
I have got adobe audition on my computer and i can do all the important things i need to do such us fade in and out, cut things from an audio that i don't need, put effects etc but there is one thing that i don't know how to do and i was wondering if anyone can help me.
For example i want to do a jingle. I will have some music playing for a few seconds and after that the music will have to be turned down so i can add some speetch and after the speetch finish the music will have to be up like at the begining. I don't know how to do that. In cool edit there are two windows. The edit window which is very accesible and the multi track window which is not very accessible. I know somebody can do what i said with the music in the multi track window but i was wondering if there was a way of doing it in the edit page.
The only thing i can do at the moment is from the edit page to sellect the section that i want to turn down and turn it down by 3 db or 6 db etc but this way doesn't sound good. The music turns down too quickly but i want it to sound like a radiostation when they move the fader to turn the music down. I want it to be smoother the fade.
I hope it makes sence. If it doesn't let me know and i will try and explain again.
Thanks
nikos, download mick's scripts for either cooledit 2 or adobe audition 1.0, both are very good.

Hi. Thanks for the website with the scripts. The problem is that i don't use jaws but another programme called supernova. I have got jaws demo 6.2. Will the scripts work or do i need the ful version of jaws for the scripts to work?
Thanks
As far as I know, the demo is a full version of the product, so you shouldn't have any problems running the scripts. Well, other than having to restart it every 40 minutes that is.
Ok thanks. I will try them.
